Day 1 : Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra and transfer to Tinchuley

Arrival - 100 Kilometres and is nearly 03 hours drive from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction)

Check-in, have lunch

Take short walk nearby narrow roads going through the jungle and village

Evening leisure

Dinner and night stay at Tinchuley

Day 2 : Sightseeing in and around Tinchuley

Eary morning, watch the magnificent sunrise from TinchuleyView Point and see how the snow peaks of Kanchenjunga and other Himalan peaks sparkle as the day light breaks.

Return to the home stay and have breakfast

After breakfast half day trip to explore Tinchuley

Early morning one can walk up to the highest point called Gumbadara, walk for about 20 minutes through forest of ferns and reach Gumbadara. Watch River Rangeet and a part of Sikkim – Beautiful view of Rangit river with big boulders which were used to train the rock climbers. Also there are many caves, one can explore them as well.

Visit the lovely Orange Orchards of Nirmal's nearly 08 kilometers drive from Tinchuley - One family owned property also has a factory producing fresh orange juice, marmalades and pickles which you can buy at reasonable prices

Tinchuley Monastery - Lama had meditated for 17 long years. You will see the long line of prayer wheels on outside wall.

There are six tea gardens within short distances where you can experience the garden life, watch tea plucking, visit the factory and see tea processing. The nearest tea estate is the well knownRungliRungliot. Another one is Peshok Tea Estate. While visiting the Peshok Tea Gardens also visit the Lover's View Point on Peshok Road. You get marvelous view of Triveni from here

Day 3 : Half day Takdah trip/Trek

Some of the finest tea gardens of Darjeeling district are located inTakdah. You can walk down or take a local taxi tour to some of them and enjoy the tea gardens on rolling hills.

GielleBhanjyang Bazaar, also known as Gandhi Chowk. This is the border point of Jinglam Tea Estate and Gielle Tea Estate. from here you can see many places in one go like Kalimpong Town, Durpin Dara, Mangpoo, RambiKhola, Takdah, Ranjuvally, 6th mile, Tiger Hill etc.

Takdah has a great Orchid Center spread across vast stretch of area. It's about half a kilometer from the market area towards 6th mile. Here you can see many different kinds of unusual and colorful Himalayan Orchids being cultivated and grown.

TakdahMonestary - Actual name is Dechhen Pema Tshoiling Monastery, but locally known as Takdah Monastery. A steep uphill boulder road after the market area leads to a steep stairway. You will need to climb several flights of stairs to reach up to the Monastery. But once there, the views are awesome.

You can also trek to Lamahatta to explore a new destination, it’s a 4-5 hrs of trek

On the way have lunch.

Afternoon return to the hotel/home stay and overnight stay at Tinchuley / Takdah (accommodation in Takdah can also be arranged on prior request and booking)

Day 4 : Departure & drop at NJP/Bagdogra

Breakfast and Check-out from Tumbling and proceed to NJP Rly Stn./Bagdogra Airport On the way visit Mirik – Mirik is a small town in Darjeeling district, mostly famous for its climate, lake, orange orchards, tea gardens and natural beauty of the surrounding locations. You can buy and taste authentic Darjeeling tea there.
